TECHNOLOGY

Computer
B has supervised access to a computer.  She Skypes, can do searches on the library catalogue database, draws with the Microsoft programme ‘paint’, and negotiates on-line learning programmes. We'll dabble with some simple programming.

Electronics
B has expressed an interest in electronics, so we shall find hands-on projects (a kit of some kind).

Mechanics
We are going to make a pulley!  As we explore the lives of early scientists.

Energy
We are going to explore solar power, by making a solar oven and/or solar concentrator.

Textiles/sewing
We will make a frame and experiment with paper-making.  Begin sewing, knitting.
